We can create your favourite hobby, pastime or interest in stone. These can be ideal Birthday, Christmas or House Warming gifts.
Send us your ideas and together we can design a house number plaque, clock, barometer or tea light to suit your hobby or interest.
Our carvings will be unique to you – designed and hand crafted for you and you alone in five easy stages:
- Send us your ideas and we will work with you to design a masterpiece to your requirements. The design process and drawing will be free of charge.
- When we have a plan agreed we will quote a price for your carving, including post & packing at the current rate (or free collection from our premises in south Hampshire, UK).
- If you accept our quotation, we will send a PayPal invoice. If you do not have a PayPal account, we will request you send a cheque.
- Once paid, we will commence your carving.
- Sit back and admire your exclusive creation and our handiwork.
All articles are made of Maltese Limestone which has a pleasant pale cream colour and sometimes reveal natural variations and marine fossils. All are hand carved by our skilled craftsmen to order, no machinery is used.
All items are sealed for weather resistance and to prevent stone dust when handling.
All plaques may be affixed to a wall using a PVA adhesive. Alternatively if requested they can have hidden hangers – just use one or two screws.
Clocks and barometers will stand on a flat surface or be made to hang on a wall and include battery where necessary.
We will produce plaques with any number and/or name in your choice of lettering style (font).
Engraved numbers can be painted in your preference of gold or silver for easy legibility from a distance.
